Our Urgent Care Center is designed to fill the gap between your necessity and the emergency room, a place where you can receive prompt attention without an appointment. Urgent care centers are primarily used to treat patients who have an injury or illness that requires immediate attention. Unfortunately most people end up paying too much at the emergency room for something that could have been treated in an Urgent Care Center. The question is, what do you do when you sprain your ankle, have a sharp pain in your side, have a terrible headache, fever, earache or a bleeding injury?.
Your doctor can’t see you for a week, but you can’t wait a week, or even a day. But going to a hospital emergency room with something relatively minor means a long and uncomfortable wait – perhaps 6, 8 hours or more – and uncertain costs. It doesn’t matter how good your insurance is, or how much money you have, there is a better alternative. So what should you do when that minor emergency strikes?
